Hybrid DVD Audio Disc (HDAD) is a two-sided DVD disc with 24/ PCM data playable on DVD Audio players, and 24/96 PCM data playable on DVD Video players on the other side. There is no Video content on this disc other than an on-screen ability to view and navigate the track listing. The album was recorded and mixed at Abbey Road Studios, London, between December and March /5(18).

Alan Parsons project combines the best parts of prog-rock with the best elements of pop. This album has undertones of Pink Floyd, whom Parsons worked with as an engineer on Dark Side of the Moon & elements of pop, where he was influenced by the Beatles, with whom he had worked as an assistant engineer on Abbey Road/5(K).

I Robot is the second studio album by British rock band The Alan Parsons Project, released on 1 June by Arista Records. The album draws conceptually on author Isaac Asimov's science fiction Robot stories, exploring philosophical themes regarding artificial intelligence. It was re-released on vinyl and cassette tape in and on CD in Genre: Progressive rock, art rock.

The I Robot album came out at a very fortuitous time, unknown to anyone, as completely unplanned, the album (with a robot on its cover) hit record stores in the US the same week as Star Wars was released and suddenly robots were all the rage and the Project was the only album .
